Character Motivation: Angel would agree to come on the basis of just wanting to escape the current state of her life after leaving the apartment Stan had gotten for her and going back to work on the pier. Besides, it could be a better way to live and saving the multiverse doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

Noteworthy Positive Characteristics:
Confident: Angel is very confident. She isn’t ashamed of how she makes money or anything about who she is. She stands behind her own choices without hesitation. While her genitalia isn’t what it should be she doesn’t let that define her and she doesn’t allow others to define her by that either. When she meets Stan’s wife, Patty, after Patty had discovered her affair with Stan she doesn’t let Patty push her boundaries. Patty is in disbelief that Angel is transsexual and she demands to see proof. While Angel expresses her regret at hurting Patty she stands up for herself that she won't let Patty push her to do that and while she isn't ashamed of anything she does or who she is except for that part of herself. She tells Patty that if she wants to know who she is, then that is the last place that Patty should be looking. Angel shows her confidence in other ways as well, she's fearless at the Balls and radiates a poise whenever she's competing even when she's being passive aggressive toward people and knowing that she's going to be mocked for it (at one point, she picks a terrible outfit to rebel against Elektra, knowing full well that it wasn't a good choice).
Compassionate: Angel cares very deeply for her friends and her House. She is the only one who looks concerned and wants to follow Blanca when Blanca finally stands up to Elektra leaves House Abundance for constantly stealing her ideas without giving her any credit. When Damon is sick and when he's worried about his boyfriend, Angel is there to comfort him and she helps him eat, keeping him company until he gets better. She is very supportive of his dream to dance and supporting him through getting into school by being there for him before and after his audition.
Resilient: Angel is very reslient and has had to be to survive. She had to leave home early on because her parents did not accept her for who she was. She was homeless until joining House Abundance and she makes ends meet by prostitution. Even with all the hardship in her life she finds joy in the Balls and despite her better judgment she falls in love. When she feels like Stan is using her she leaves even though it breaks her heart but she wants him to miss her and choose her. She never stops moving and even though she was feeling broken she gets back to work and living her life.
Loyal: As noted above, when Blanca stands up to Elektra, Angel is the only one who seemed to want to go after her but she was held back by others. When Blanca discovers one of the Evangelistas was selling drugs she kicks him out. Angel had been hiding the knowledge from Blanca to try and protect him. She argues with Blanca for kicking him out because he is their family and they should be giving him another chance.
Noteworthy Negative Characteristics:
Immature and Selfish: Angel at times can be very immature. This is most prevalent in relationships than anything else. She knows better than to get involved with a married man and yet falls for Stan anyway. She thinks that she can make him choose her. Angel starts to bait fights and arguments with Stan and then uses the information she'd gotten him to admit to accuse him of things and try to get her way. This also ties into the fact that she is selfish and she doesn't care that he had wife and children and she wants him to leave them for her.
Jaded: Angel doesn't believe that the world has anything good for someone like her. She doesn't believe she's allowed to dream or want a better life. She tells Stan that all you can think about when you're someone like her is surviving and hoping you don't end up dead in a ditch. Angel knows that since she is transsexual she will never really be able to have the life that she wants and so dreaming is too painful.
Stubborn: Angel is without a doubt very stubborn. She knows that she is wrong about Stan after she left him but she refuses to admit as much even to Blanca. She tells Blanca that Stan will choose her even though she knows that some white businesman never would. She holds her ground about the drug dealer that got kicked out and generally once she has decided something it is near impossible to make her change her mind even when she knows that she is wrong.
